Why am I unable to craft items in the Imperial style?

Characters of the Imperial race are the only ones who can craft items in the Imperial style as their "native" style. If you create a character who is not Imperial, you will not be able to craft this style unless you find the Imperial Motif book.
However, if you own the Imperial Edition of the game, all of the characters you create, regardless of race, possess the ability to convert items to the Imperial style. To convert armor or weapons, visit an "Outfit Station" to apply this style to your Outfits at no charge.
